The Thermal-Eye X-50 from L-3 sets the standard for durability and compactness in thermal imaging cameras. Featuring a 160 x 120 resolution camera core, the X-50 enhances user's vision in complete darkness and challenging environments. 

The handheld camera is palm-sized, lightweight and features durable rubberized housing. The X-50 operates with a simple one-button on/off operation. The unit can withstand moderate shock and vibration and exceeds waterproof standards. 

The Thermal-Eye X-50 has a field of view of 11' x 18', a detection range of up to 1,000 feet, and runs conveniently on 2 AA batteries.
