"Hammerhead" IR Outdoor PTZ Camera

The Strain Security "Hammerhead"outdoor PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) is a top-of-the-line, ruggedized, outdoor surveillance camera capable of 360 degree property protection. On one side of its head is a 36x optical, high resolution camera. On the other side is a high-intesity infrared array enabling the camera to see up to 80 meters (approx. 260 ft.) in total darkness. The camera can swivel very rapidly and can be easily programmed to follow specific detection and search protocols.

In this configuration, you have the Hammerhead (in this case wired rather than wireless) combined with three motion detect transmitters and a WTAS (Wireless Tracking Acquisition System).

ST-WTAS

This wireless tracking system provides a 3 channel motion detect perimeter protection for use by the Hammerhead PTZ.
The 3 Motion Detect Transmitters can be set up to detect movement up to 2000 feet away.
When motion is detected within the protected zone, it transmits a wireless signal telling the Hammerhead to spin around and zoom in on that area
System runs on 120 Vac mains while the Motion detect transmitters runs on a 9 Vdc battery for 1 year. The WTAS is enclosed in a weatherproof Nema 4 Housing and will operate from -20 to 130 Degrees F.
